Electric Vehicles

OTREC works with partners at the federal, state and local levels to build a viable electric vehicle network. Member universities have formed partnerships with each other, with public agencies and with private companies including Portland General Electric, Nissan and ECOtality to increase awareness of electric vehicles and accelerate their adoption. Efforts include planning, education, customer analysis and work to support the manufacturing, charging and supplier industry.
