2011 CUTC Summer Meeting
Getting to Portland
The Portland International Airport (PDX) is located approximately 7 miles from downtown Portland. In addition to taxi and shuttle bus services (allow 30-45 minutes for travel time), the airport is well served by the region's light rail transit system, MAX. A ride from the airport takes less than an hour and the fare is $2.35. The website of TriMet, the regional transit agency, includes an excellent trip planner that can help you reach your hotel.
Getting around Portland
Portland is a famously walkable city and rail transit, including the light rail and the streetcar systems, are free to ride in the central business district (including Portland State University's campus and all of the hotels listed below). The Portland Oregon Visitors Association (POVA) is an excellent resource for local attractions.
